Rabbi Yaakov Vosoghi spent his childhood years in Los Angeles, CA. He attended Valley Torah High School in Valley Village, CA. Upon graduating, he spent two years engrossed in the study of Scripture and Talmud in the Chofetz Chaim Yeshiva in Israel. Upon the conclusion of his studies in Israel, he chose to part with his life dream of becoming a doctor and instead dedicate himself to Torah study. Rabbi Vosoghi went on to study for fourteen years at the world-renowned Rabbinical Seminary of America (Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim) in Queens, NY where he received Rabbinical ordination in 2012. He also served as the Rabbi at Sephardic Synagogue of Plainview in Long Island, NY for 4 years. The Rabbi was also very actively involved in outreach in the entire Long Island area, but primarily focused on the Sephardic population in Great Neck, NY. Hundreds of people have benefited and grow from his lectures, classes, and spiritual guidance. Rabbi Vosoghi's down to earth and personable personality has enabled him to reach and engage a broad range of people. He has a true passion to disseminate Torah to the masses and to make people more knowledgeable about the true beauty of a Torah lifestyle. He currently lives in Los Angeles and is a Rabbi at Ohr Chanoch High School. He also gives lectures to community members.
